Which Micron Do I Need?

Polyolefin shrink film is available in three thicknesses. Here’s how they compare:

  • 15 Micron – our lightest and most economical polyolefin film – ideal for lighter retail items, single products, and general multi-packing where cost efficiency matters.
  • 19 Micron – a stronger, mid-weight film – suited to heavier or bulkier products and multi-packs that need more durability than 15 micron can offer.
  • 25 Micron (you are viewing this one) – our heaviest-duty polyolefin film – multi-layer strength built for heavier, sharp-edged, or high-volume packaging where maximum puncture resistance and seal strength are essential.
